The Burnaby Squadron offers various boating
safety related courses including
Boating, Boat Pro,
Global Positioning, Marine Maintenance, Piloting, Advanced Piloting, VHF and Weather,
etc.
However, all
courses may not be offered on a yearly basis.

THE BOATING COURSE:
This Course is held twice
yearly at
Burnaby North Secondary in the
cafeteria at the North end of the school
building. The
length of the course is 13 weeks.
Training is on Tuesdays evenings 1900
Hrs to approximately 2130 Hrs.
The next course starts
on September 9, 2008.To sign

THE BOAT PRO COURSE:
BOAT-PRO "ALL IN ONE DAY
SPECIAL" courses will be held
at
Willingdon Church on January 19th,
February 16th, April 12th, June
14th, July 5th, August 23rd and September
6th, 2008 starting
at 0830 Hrs and finishing at 1630 Hrs. A
temporary Pleasure Craft Operators Card is
issued at the end the course.
Boat Pro course will also be offered
at the
New West Secondary School and at
Burnaby North
Secondary. Please note that Boat Pro is offered
on May 10th, 2008 at the New West Secondary
School. Register with New West
Secondary school district Continued
Education.
New West Secondary School at Dates and
times will be contained in their mailed out
calendars.
