For the
duration of the Winter Olympic Games, the False
Creek Yacht Club will be transformed into
Discover Boating House and the best view in
False Creek will be open to the public! Show your
Canadian Power & Sail Squadron/ US Power Squadron
Card for 10% discounts on food in the lounge and
enjoy watching the games on the big screen. The
lounge will be open for Lunch and Dinner and the pub
will be open until 2am for a late night cocktail.
Discover
Boating House will be in the epicentre of Olympic
venues, minutes to David Lam Park and accessible by
Aquabus from Granville Island, Yaletown and Science
World. Come and join your fellow boaters and our
partners, Pacific Yachting, BC Marine Trades
Association, West Marine, Power & Sail Squadron,
Disabled Sailing Association, and others...
During the Games the Aquabus will be stopping at the
False Creek Yacht Club docks.

Squadrons Pub night (replacing the Vancouver Power
and Sail Squadron Squadron Night for this unique
Games event) at
Discover Boating House at the FCYC!
There is no
admission charge for this event or other events
during the Games at the FCYC. Great opportunity to
meet and greet your fellow boaters in the heart of
the Olympics! This is an event you won’t want to
miss! Remember to enter the FCYC draw - one lucky
