False Creek Anchoring Restrictions:

The Boating Restriction Regulations were amended on November 28th, 2005, to require a permit for boats anchoring in False Creek for more than 8 hours or overnight. Such permit would be issued without charge and is valid for 14 days April 1st to September 30th, and for 21 days October 1st to March 31st annually. Complete details of this amendment may be downloaded from the Canada Gazette web site (SOR/2005-405 November 28, 2005). Enforcement will be by the VPD.
