Telegraph Harbour Marina has a store, small snack
bar, washrooms, showers & laundry, a BBQ patio, and
a covered social pavilion, and play area for
horseshoes, bocci ball, etc. It also has gas and
diesel fuel pumps. Marina details can be seen at

Reservations for moorage, should be directed to
marina managers Ron and Barbara Williamson at
1-800-246-6011 or 1-250-246-9511. Moorage rate for
the Burnaby Squadron group is $1.10 per foot per
night. Shore power is available at an additional
charge. Please advise, when making your bookings,
that you are part of the Burnaby Power& Sail
Squadron. The marina will hold a maximum of 15
spaces for our group until one week prior to the
event (June 21) and then it will be “first
come, first served”. Each individual member should
phone and make their reservation. The marina
requires a credit card to hold their space.
Cancellation policy is you have until 3pm of the day
of arrival to cancel. The marina does not accept
reservations via email since they do not have a
secure site for credit card numbers.
Saturday evening’s activities will consist of the
traditional hors d’oeuvres/happy hour in the
Pavilion.
On Sunday Telegraph Harbour cruisers can take the
ferry over to Chemainus for shopping and wandering
around the murals, dinghy over to the pub &
restaurant at Thetis Island marina, check out the
coffee and pottery craft places on Thetis Island, or
run “The Cut" in dinghies. Telegraph Harbor Marina
also has a Summer Market on Sunday from 10-12
in the Pavilion. On Sunday evening, a BBQ dinner is
intended on the BBQ patio at the marina. Plan to
bring your own favorite meat, fish or fowl. We’ll
canvas for salads/desserts/sides once the cruiser
list is confirmed.
Departure on Monday to return to home port or on to
other Gulf Islands destinations.

This is a reminder that
the dates for the Burnaby Squadron Canada Day
cruise at Telegraph Harbour Marina, Thetis
Island, are Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June
29. Anyone intending to stay longer at
Telegraph Harbour Marina should have made their
reservations by now, as the Canada Day holiday
weekend runs into the US July 4th holiday
weekend and the marina is both popular and busy.

newsletter and website, please advise me when
you have confirmed your reservations with the
marina. Several cruisers have already notified
